Film Director and Producer, Founder of Animation Studio Zedem Media, President of the Larnaca Cinema Society
Michalis Kalopaidis is an Award-Winning Film Director and Founder of the award-winning Animation Studio Zedem Media, based in Larnaca but collaborating with organizations worldwide. He holds a degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Columbia College in Chicago with a postgraduate degree in Media & Cultural Studies from Middlesex University.
His award-winning film “The Parrot Lady” has been screened at more than 50 festivals worldwide, and he has also worked as a co-producer on many other short films. Since 2013, he has been contributing on a voluntary basis to the local film community as President of the Larnaca Cinema Society, a non-profit organization that promotes film culture through lectures and film screenings.
He is a member of the Directors Guild of Cyprus and a founding member of the Cyprus Animation Association.
