The Youth Makerspace Larnaka is a program of the Cyprus Youth Organization. It is an innovative space for creation, construction, and education based on the standards of “makerspaces,” which are being developed worldwide. It features state-of-the-art equipment for prototype development and idea implementation by makers of all ages. It is aimed at children and young people, amateurs, and professionals, educational institutions, schools, and other organized groups.
Visitors can learn about technology, construct through creative building methods, develop technological and entrepreneurial projects, and share their knowledge and skills. The activities of the Youth Makerspace Larnaka develop critical 21st-century skills such as critical thinking and creativity in the fields of design and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
