Organise: Municipality of Larnaca
The European Cultural Winter is an integral part of the municipality’s cultural identity. The decision to create this institution arose from the realization that the municipality couldn’t host large spectacles during the winter period due to the lack of a large theater venue.
By organizing a series of major events covering a wide spectrum of cultural activities for the months of November, December, January, February, and March, it put an end to the inability to do so, while providing an opportunity for both the local population and foreign visitors to enjoy them
