Christophoros Tofallis

Artist

Christoforos Ttofalli was born in Larnaca, Cyprus (13/02/1996) to refugee parents originating from Famagusta.

Showing interest in arts, culture, and civilization from a young age, he decided immediately after graduating from high school and completing his military service to move to Italy, where he attended one of Italy’s most renowned schools, the “Academia di Belle Arti di Urbino”. However, due to financial and personal reasons, he returned to Cyprus and completed his studies at the University of Nicosia in the field of Fine Arts.

Despite his young age, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad, as well as in a solo exhibition.

Realism with a dose of theatricality, imagination, and exaggeration characterize the works of Ch. Ttofalli, whose aim is to provoke the viewer.

With a particularly dark thematic approach stemming from contemporary society, using archetypes and mythology, he focuses on creating narratives and allegories addressing both contemporary and timeless personal, social, and socio-political issues.
