Writer
Annetta Benzar is a project manager, book editor, and writer based in Cyprus. She holds an MA degree in English from King’s College London, with a thesis on life writing, migration, and narrative performativity in identity politics. She has since published various works including “I am Cyprus” (2020), which explores aspects of belonging, narrating identity, and storytelling through life writing, and co-edited “Larnaka: The Anthology” (2022). She has led international multi-stakeholder cultural and research projects in the digital transition of CCS entities, the social inclusion of vulnerable peoples, especially those who have often faced historical marginalization in the public sight, and sustainable storytelling.
She co-runs Atlantis Culture, a cultural organisation dedicated to promoting dialogues of inclusivity and diversity in the arts, with a strong focus on literature and publishing.
