Elena Goundara was born in Athens and has been living in Larnaca for the last few years. She is a graduate of the Photography department of the School of Graphic Arts and Artistic Studies of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and continued her studies acquiring specialized knowledge and experiences.
Elena combines her artistic vision with the teaching of Photography, since since 2009 she has been teaching at various Educational Organizations. Through her teaching she tries to help people of all ages to experiment, develop their creativity and discover a different way of thinking and expressing themselves through Photography.
Her philosophy focuses on the importance of observation and sensitivity towards the world around us, but also on trying to transfer our inner world to the photographic image.
