Painter – Sculptor – Musician – Engineer
I am a member of EKATE Cyprus and the ΙΑΑ. I was born in Pano Amiantos in 1947. I studied at the National Technical University of Athens. I have exhibited my paintings in many group thematic exhibitions of EKATE as well as in 10 solo exhibitions. In cypriot national competitions, I have won first, second, and third prizes in Painting. First prize, in 2010, at the Telmahos Kanthos Visual Arts Competition, two second prizes, in 2011, at the National Competition “Maniera Cypria,” and a third prize, in 2012, at the National Art Competition of the Cyprus Olympic Committee. Additionally, I received a commendation, in 2008, at the Pan-Cypriot Competition “Weavings” organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture in collaboration with EKATE.
In 2021, I represented EKATE in the Special Evaluation Committee established for enriching with artworks the new large building of the Famagusta District Court in Paralimni. As a musician, I play the harmonica in the Zinonas Serenaders. As a sculptor, I specialize in cement sculpture and mosaic. As a chorister, I am a tenor with a presence in many Pan-Cypriot choirs as well as in opera.
